The white nationalist movement is not a fringe group of a few extreme individuals. Political opposition to institutional bigotry does not always signify a liberal or anti-racist agenda. There is, in fact, a reactionary neo-fascist social movement that is working (like the left) to alter government and social policies that do not represent their interests. It is important to understand the white nationalist movement as not simply a symptom of oppressive state power (though many white nationalists consider the left to be merely an extension or symptom of the “multi-cultural state”).
Like other social movements, white nationalism seeks to alter the state or in some cases, overthrow it. Simply put, our fight must include a framework that addresses both institutional oppression and white nationalism.
